Job Requirements

  • Pass the appropriate security clearance in accordance with company policy
  • Ability to maintain designated minutes per room
  • Knowledge of proper procedures for handling linens, terry and other supplies
  • Knowledge of sanitation protocols for guestrooms and public areas
  • Ability to follow safety and security measures and report hazards promptly
  • Ability to comply with all company standards and procedures
  • Flexibility to work holidays, weekends, and varied shifts in a 24/7 operation
  • Maintain guest privacy and a hospitable attitude
  • Ability to multitask and remain service-centric
  • Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in similar positions is helpful but not mandatory
  • Ability to perform major life activities such as standing, lifting, bending, concentrating and communicating
  • Ability to push or pull 60 pounds and lift or carry 30 pounds
  • Ability to stand for eight hours and perform physical tasks such as bending, stretching, crawling and kneeling
  • Ability to see, hear, speak and understand English
  • Professionalism, honesty and trustworthiness
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and coworkers
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent guest service in an efficient, courteous, professional manner
  • Clean vacant dirty rooms to be guest ready and occupied rooms to an occupied clean status
  • Maintain a clean and orderly housekeeping cart
  • Follow all cleaning procedures outlined in training and checklists
  • Report any discrepancies to the Housekeeping Manager
  • Maintain a professional appearance adhering to grooming and uniform standards
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness of public areas and back-of-house spaces
