Job Requirements

  • must pass company security clearance
  • ability to stand for eight hours and perform physical activities such as lifting, bending, stretching, crawling, kneeling
  • ability to push or pull up to 60 pounds and lift/carry 30 pounds
  • must be able to see and hear
  • ability to understand and speak English
  • honesty and professionalism at all times
  • flexibility to work holidays and weekends in a 24/7 environment

Job Qualifications

  • experience in housekeeping or similar roles in lodging, housing, hospitals, or care facilities helpful but not mandatory
  • knowledge of linen handling and sanitation procedures
  • understanding of guestroom cleaning standards and safety protocols
  • ability to communicate effectively in English
  • professionalism and trustworthiness
  • multitasking and time management skills
  • ability to work independently and collaboratively

Job Duties

  • clean vacant and occupied guest rooms according to brand standards and company best practices
  • maintain professional appearance adhering to grooming and uniform standards
  • keep housekeeping cart clean and orderly
  • follow cleaning procedures as outlined in training and checklists
  • perform general deep cleaning every 90 days
  • report discrepancies to Housekeeping Manager
  • assist in cleaning other hotel areas including public spaces and back of house
  • respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries
  • understand and adhere to emergency, safety, and security procedures
  • perform other duties as assigned within capability
