Job Requirements

  • Pass the appropriate security clearance per company policy
  • Be able to stand for eight hours
  • Lift and carry up to 30 pounds
  • Push or pull up to 60 pounds
  • Perform physical tasks such as bending, stretching, reaching, crawling, and kneeling
  • Be able to see and hear adequately
  • Read, speak, and understand English
  • Demonstrate professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness at all times
  • Maintain flexibility to work holidays and weekends in a 24/7 operation

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in similar positions such as lodging, housing, hospitals, or care facilities helpful but not mandatory
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English

  • Knowledge of proper linen and supply handling procedures
  • Familiarity with sanitation and cleaning standards
  • Ability to maintain guest privacy
  • Capability to follow systematic cleaning protocols

  • Friendly and helpful communication with guests and coworkers

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent guest service in an efficient, courteous and professional manner
  • Clean vacant dirty rooms to guest-ready standards
  • Return occupied dirty rooms to clean status within specified timeframes
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and stocked housekeeping cart
  • Adhere to company grooming and uniform standards
  • Follow all cleaning procedures and training checklists
  • Report discrepancies and hazardous conditions to the Housekeeping Manager
  • Maintain cleanliness in public areas including restrooms, stairwells, and back-of-house areas
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries
  • Understand and follow safety, security, and emergency procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned within capability
