Job Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications
- Minimum of one year hospitality experience in housekeeping preferred
- Basic understanding of the English language preferred
- Strong verbal and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Commitment to exceptional guest service
- Knowledge of hotel layout, facilities and services
- Understanding of emergency procedures and safety precautions
- Positive attitude
- Ability to work varied schedules including holidays, weekends, and nights
- Ability to clearly communicate with employees, guests, vendors and corporate executives
Job Duties
- Clean assigned guest rooms or suites per brand standards including making beds, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms
- Empty trash containers and replace liners
- Restock useable items in guest rooms such as soap, towels, and paper products
- Clean and vacuum exterior entry and hallways
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of linen closets and supply areas
- Attend promptly to guest laundry and dry-cleaning orders
- Notify Supervisor of any special issues or maintenance needs in guest rooms
- Handle guest complaints or requests with empathy and refer to Supervisor if needed
- Secure rooms upon leaving
- Handle chemicals and equipment according to safety guidelines
- Provide exceptional guest service with personal attention and teamwork
- Listen and resolve guest problems with empathy
- Follow hotel policies and procedures
