Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • ability to communicate effectively in English
  • physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting bending and standing for extended periods
  • willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
  • prior experience in housekeeping or hospitality is an advantage but not mandatory

Job Qualifications

  • previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • ability to lift and carry heavy objects
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • clean and sanitize guest rooms including making beds changing linens and replacing towels
  • dust and polish furniture fixtures and mirrors
  • vacuum carpets and mop floors
  • clean and sanitize bathrooms including toilets sinks and bathtubs
  • empty trash cans and replace trash bags
  • restock guest rooms with amenities such as toiletries and linens
  • clean and maintain public areas including hallways stairwells and lobbies
  • sweep mop and vacuum public areas as needed
  • empty trash cans and replace trash bags
  • wipe down surfaces and sanitize high-touch areas
  • respond to guest requests and inquiries in a friendly and professional manner
  • report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate department
  • follow all hotel policies and procedures
  • assist with laundry duties as needed
  • participate in inventory control and supply management
  • perform other duties as assigned
