Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience a plus
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including varying shifts
  • Ability to follow safety and security procedures
  • Good physical stamina
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to bend and reach to dust and clean
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • Strong communication skills to interact with guests and staff
  • Visual inspection skills for cleanliness and guest belongings
  • Ability to use written communication for reporting
  • Dexterity to use fingers, arms, and hands for cleaning tasks

Job Duties

  • Stock housekeeping bag to ensure enough cleaning supplies and amenities are available
  • Observe knocking procedures upon entering guest rooms
  • Clean assigned guest rooms thoroughly and ensure amenities are stocked
  • Complete housekeeping checklists accurately
  • Mark cleaned rooms to supervisor for inspection
  • Report damages or hazards such as burned-out light bulbs or broken furniture to management
  • Secure guest room doors upon exiting
  • Maintain neat corridors and service areas
  • Turn in lost and found items and guest room keys
  • Adhere to company policies and safety procedures
  • Follow safety and security rules and use protective equipment
  • Report unsafe conditions and accidents to management
  • Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
  • Assist other housekeeping personnel as needed
  • Perform related duties as requested
