Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to bend, reach, stand, walk and lift up to 50 pounds
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow company policies and safety procedures
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties
- Must maintain a neat and clean appearance
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Ability to bend and reach to dust, clean and make beds and bathrooms
- Ability to stand and walk for varying lengths of time
- Good verbal communication skills to interact with guests and staff
- Ability to visually inspect rooms for cleanliness and left belongings
- Competent in written communication to mark completed rooms
- Dexterity to move fingers, arms and hands quickly and easily
- Understanding of safety and emergency procedures
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
Job Duties
- Stock housekeeping bag to ensure enough cleaning needs, equipment and amenities are available
- Observe knocking procedures upon entering a guest room
- Clean guest rooms assigned and ensure amenities are stocked
- Complete entire housekeeping checklist
- Mark clean rooms accurately to supervisor for inspection
- Report damages or hazards in guest rooms
- Secure guest room doors upon exiting the room
- Keep corridors and service areas neat
- Turn in lost and found items and guest room keys
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Follow safety and security rules
- Know fire prevention and emergency procedures
- Utilize protective equipment
- Report unsafe conditions to management
- Report accidents, injuries, property damage or loss
- Provide a safe work environment by following safety procedures
- Maintain neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
- Perform related duties as requested by management
- Assist other housekeeping personnel when needed
