Job Requirements

  • Pass appropriate security clearance per company policy
  • be physically capable of standing for eight hours, bending, stretching, reaching, crawling, kneeling
  • able to push or pull 60 pounds and lift or carry 30 pounds
  • able to see, hear, and communicate effectively in English
  • maintain professionalism and honesty
  • comply with all company standards
  • be available to work holidays and weekends as needed
  • flexible work schedule
  • maintain a friendly professional image throughout the shift

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in lodging, housing, hospitals, or care facilities helpful but not mandatory
  • ability to maintain designated cleaning times per room
  • strong communication skills in English, additional languages helpful
  • ability to follow company housekeeping procedures systematically
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness at all times
  • ability to multitask and remain service centric

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent guest service in an efficient, courteous professional manner
  • clean vacant dirty rooms to be guest ready and occupied rooms to a clean status per brand standards
  • maintain a crisp, clean and professional appearance daily
  • keep housekeeping cart clean and orderly
  • follow cleaning procedures as outlined in training and checklists
  • report discrepancies to the Housekeeping Manager
  • assist in maintaining other hotel areas including public spaces and back-of-house areas
  • respond to guest requests and inquiries immediately
  • adhere to emergency procedures and safety standards
  • perform other duties as assigned
