Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous housekeeping or custodial experience preferred but not required
- ability to stand, bend, lift, and move for extended periods
- punctuality and reliability
- successful completion of a background check prior to employment
- ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
- positive attitude and courteous demeanor
- familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety procedures
- flexibility to adapt to changing priorities or assignments
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous housekeeping or custodial experience preferred but not required
- experience working in hospitality, healthcare, or other professional cleaning environments is a plus
- comfortable using commercial vacuums, laundry machines, and cleaning tools
- strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene
- ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
- physical stamina and capability to stand, bend, lift, and move for extended periods
- reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of personal responsibility
- positive attitude and courteous demeanor when interacting with guests or associates
- familiarity with cleaning chemicals, safety procedures, and laundry equipment
- flexibility to adapt to changing priorities or assignments
Job Duties
- make beds in guest rooms
- replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, writing supplies and bathroom supplies in guest rooms
- clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms and other work areas
- clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture and draperies, using vacuum cleaner
- dust furniture and equipment
- polish metalwork, such as fixtures and fittings
- wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills
- empty wastebaskets and clean ashtrays
- transport trash and waste to disposal area
- replace light bulbs
- collect soiled linens for laundering and receive and store linen supplies in linen closet
- load articles into washer and add specified amount of detergent, soap, or other cleaning agent
- lift clean, wet articles from washer and place them successively into wringers and driers for measured time cycles
- sort dried articles according to identification number or type
- fold and place item in appropriate storage bin
- other duties as assigned
