Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or related field preferred
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to bend, reach, and perform physical cleaning duties
- Good communication skills
- Adherence to company policies and safety regulations
- Availability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience beneficial
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Attention to detail and visual inspection skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Knowledge of safety and security procedures
- Ability to work flexible shifts
- Positive attitude and team player mindset
Job Duties
- Stock housekeeping bag to ensure enough cleaning supplies and amenities are available
- Observe knocking procedures upon entering guest rooms
- Clean assigned guest rooms ensuring amenities are stocked
- Complete housekeeping checklists thoroughly
- Mark cleaned rooms for supervisor inspection accurately
- Report damages or hazards in rooms such as burned out bulbs or broken furniture
- Secure guest room doors upon exit
- Keep corridors and service areas neat
- Turn in lost and found items and guest room keys
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Follow safety and security procedures and rules
- Understand fire prevention and emergency procedures
- Utilize protective equipment properly
- Report unsafe conditions and accidents to management
- Maintain neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
- Assist other housekeeping personnel as needed
- Perform other related duties as requested by management
