- previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- ability to lift up to fifty pounds
- standing and walking for long periods

- ability to visually inspect rooms for cleanliness and guest belongings
- proficiency in using written communication for daily paperwork
- physical ability to bend, reach, stand, and walk for extended periods
- experience in housekeeping or related roles preferred
- familiarity with safety and emergency procedures
- ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- teamwork and collaboration skills
Job Duties
- Stocks housekeeping bag to ensure that enough cleaning needs, equipment, and amenities are available
- observes knocking procedures upon entering a guest room
- cleans assigned guest rooms and ensures amenities are stocked
- completes housekeeping checklist thoroughly
- marks clean rooms accurately to supervisor for inspection
- reports damages or hazards in guest rooms such as burned out light bulbs or broken furniture
- secures guest room doors upon exiting
- keeps corridors and service areas neat
- turns in lost and found items and guest room keys
- adheres to company policies and procedures
- follows safety and security rules
- knows department fire prevention and emergency procedures
- utilizes protective equipment
- reports unsafe conditions and accidents to management
- maintains a neat and well-groomed appearance
- assists other housekeeping personnel as needed
- performs related duties as requested by management
