Job Requirements
- must pass security clearance per company policy
- must be able to push or pull 60 pounds and lift or carry 30 pounds
- must be able to stand for eight hours and perform physical tasks including bending stretching reaching crawling and kneeling
- must be able to see and hear
- must speak and understand english with communication in other languages a plus
- must maintain professionalism honesty and trustworthiness at all times
- must be available to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends
Job Qualifications
- experience in similar positions such as lodging housing hospitals and care facilities helpful but not mandatory
- ability to perform major life activities including standing lifting bending learning reading concentrating thinking and communicating
- proficiency in english communication both speaking and reading
- professionalism honesty and trustworthiness
- knowledge of proper linen handling sanitation and guestroom cleaning
- safety and security awareness
- ability to follow systematic cleaning procedures
- ability to assist guests maintaining a hospitable and caring attitude
- capability to work independently and as a team member
Job Duties
- provides excellent guest service in an efficient courteous professional manner
- follows company standards of friendly hospitality
- maintains cleanliness of guest rooms
- manages usage and organization of supplies
- cleans vacant dirty rooms to be guest ready
- returns occupied dirty rooms to a clean status
- maintains professional appearance adhering to grooming and uniform standards
- maintains a clean and orderly housekeeping cart
- follows all outlined cleaning procedures and training checklists
- reports any discrepancies to housekeeping manager
- assists in maintaining cleanliness of other hotel areas
- responds to guest requests and inquiries promptly
- possesses thorough knowledge of emergency procedures and safety needs
- performs other assigned duties as required
