Job Requirements

  • Be able to work in standing position for long periods up to 8 hours
  • Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, and follow through
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Ability to exert physical effort consistent with cleaning assigned rooms
  • Ability to grasp, bend, stoop
  • push or pull heavy loads weighing up to 30 lbs
  • High school education not required
  • Up to one month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience

Job Duties

  • Clean assigned guest rooms according to procedure
  • Remove dirty towels and replace with clean ones
  • Clean, dust, and sanitize all guest room areas including bedroom, living room, dining room, and bathroom
  • Make beds and vacuum carpets
  • Clean marble and tile areas
  • Remove room service trays, dishes, and carts to service landings
  • Restock used amenities such as shampoo, lotions, cotton balls, stationery, and pens
  • Comply with work rules and standards of conduct
  • Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
  • Perform other housekeeping duties as assigned
