Job Requirements

  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule including some evenings, weekends and holidays
  • ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • able to walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch regularly
  • must be punctual and wear uniform as required
  • maintain accurate work hours
  • follow safety and housekeeping procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 6 months experience in a similar housekeeping or room stylist role preferred
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
  • attentive to detail and quality standards
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to interact professionally with guests and team members

Job Duties

  • Anticipate guest expectations
  • clean guest rooms as assigned including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming
  • change and replenish bed linens, towels and guest amenities as needed
  • perform deep cleaning tasks as assigned
  • stock, maintain and transport housekeeping supply cart daily
  • dispose of trash and recyclables
  • respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
  • demonstrate teamwork responsiveness when asked to do any task consistent with Marriott standards
  • follow all safety practices within the role and Lost & Found procedures
  • maintain organized and detailed work habits
