Job Requirements

  • Must pass appropriate security clearance per company policy
  • Must maintain standards of honesty and trustworthiness
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends in a 24/7 operation
  • Must comply with all company standards and follow established cleaning and safety protocols
  • Ability to work alone and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Must maintain guest privacy and demonstrate a service-centric attitude
  • Must be physically capable of standing walking lifting bending and other physical activities required for the role

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in similar positions within lodging housing hospitals or care facilities helpful but not mandatory
  • Ability to perform major life activities including standing lifting bending learning reading concentrating thinking and communicating
  • Ability to push or pull 60 pounds and lift and carry 30 pounds
  • Ability to stand for eight hours and perform physical tasks such as bending stretching reaching crawling and kneeling
  • Ability to see hear speak and read or understand English additional language skills helpful
  • Display professionalism honesty and trustworthiness at all times
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills to interact with guests and co-workers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Knowledge of proper procedures for handling linens terry and other supplies sanitation and guestroom cleaning procedures

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent guest service in an efficient courteous professional manner following company standards
  • Ensure cleanliness of guest rooms and maintain the usage and organization of supplies
  • Clean vacant dirty rooms to guest ready status and occupied rooms to occupied clean status within specified time and accuracy constraints
  • Maintain a clean and orderly housekeeping cart and professional appearance adhering to grooming and uniform standards
  • Follow cleaning procedures as outlined in training and general clean procedures every 90 days
  • Report any discrepancies or hazardous conditions immediately to Housekeeping Manager
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness of other hotel areas including restrooms public areas stairwells and back-of-house sections
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries with professionalism and a hospitable attitude
  • Possess thorough knowledge of emergency procedures and safety and security needs
  • Perform additional duties as assigned within capabilities
