Job Requirements

  • Minimum of one-year hospitality experience in housekeeping
  • follows instructions and communicates effectively
  • works well independently or as part of a team
  • strong attention to detail
  • commitment to exceptional guest service
  • can clean multiple room types and meet the daily cleaning quota
  • willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • adheres to the policies and procedures of the hotel

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior housekeeping experience in a hotel environment
  • knowledge of cleaning and sanitation standards
  • ability to operate cleaning equipment
  • strong customer service skills
  • ability to work under minimal supervision
  • physical ability to meet job demands
  • effective communication skills

Job Duties

  • Clean assigned guest rooms or suites including making beds, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning bathrooms
  • maintain cleaning protocols
  • empty all trash containers and replace liners
  • restock usable items in rooms such as soap, towels, and amenities
  • ensure removal of guest trays, glass, and silverware
  • clean and vacuum exterior entries and hallways
  • keep linen closets and supply areas clean and organized
