Job Requirements
- ability to stand and walk for 8 or more hours
- ability to walk around the hotel including stairs
- ability to stoop, kneel, and lift at least 50 pounds
- ability to push and pull approximately 200 pounds
- commitment to maintaining positive energy and motivation
- capability to adapt to changing situations and handle pressure
- basic reading and writing skills
- knowledge of local area amenities and attractions
Job Qualifications
- at least one year of cleaning or janitorial experience
- hotel guest room cleaning experience preferred
- strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- interpersonal skills including listening and teamwork
- ability to multitask and maintain focus under pressure
- conflict resolution skills
- ability to maintain confidentiality of guest information
- bilingual or multilingual skills preferred
- emotional intelligence training preferred
Job Duties
- clean and service guest rooms to ensure comfort and cleanliness
- assist in maintaining public areas
- answer guest inquiries courteously
- deliver items to guest rooms as needed
- restock room supplies and amenities
- assist with special cleaning projects
- collaborate with managers and associates to meet guest needs
