Job Requirements
- Must be able to perform standing, lifting, bending, learning, reading, concentrating, thinking, and communicating
- Must be able to push or pull 60 pounds and lift or carry 30 pounds
- Must be able to stand for eight hours, bend, stretch, reach, crawl, and kneel
- Must be able to see and hear
- Must be able to speak and read or understand English
- Must display professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness at all times
- Must pass appropriate security clearance
- Must maintain grooming and uniform standards
- Must be available to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends in a 24/7 operation
Job Qualifications
- Honesty and trustworthiness
- Ability to pass security clearance per company policy
- Experience in similar positions preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to perform physical tasks like standing for extended periods, lifting up to 30 pounds, and pushing/pulling 60 pounds
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Professionalism in guest and coworker interactions
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures, guest privacy maintenance, guestroom sanitation, and safety standards
Job Duties
- Provide excellent guest service in an efficient, courteous professional manner
- Clean vacant dirty rooms to guest-ready status and return occupied dirty rooms to clean status within given time constraints
- Maintain a clean, orderly housekeeping cart
- Follow all cleaning procedures and checklists precisely
- Report discrepancies to the Housekeeping Manager
- Maintain cleanliness of other hotel areas like associate lounge, restrooms, public spaces, stairwells, and back-of-house
- Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries
- Understand and follow emergency, safety, and security procedures
