Job Requirements

  • Must be able to perform standing, lifting, bending, learning, reading, concentrating, thinking, and communicating
  • Must be able to push or pull 60 pounds and lift or carry 30 pounds
  • Must be able to stand for eight hours, bend, stretch, reach, crawl, and kneel
  • Must be able to see and hear
  • Must be able to speak and read or understand English
  • Must display professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness at all times
  • Must pass appropriate security clearance
  • Must maintain grooming and uniform standards
  • Must be available to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends in a 24/7 operation

Job Qualifications

  • Honesty and trustworthiness
  • Ability to pass security clearance per company policy
  • Experience in similar positions preferred but not mandatory
  • Ability to perform physical tasks like standing for extended periods, lifting up to 30 pounds, and pushing/pulling 60 pounds
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Professionalism in guest and coworker interactions
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with cleaning procedures, guest privacy maintenance, guestroom sanitation, and safety standards

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent guest service in an efficient, courteous professional manner
  • Clean vacant dirty rooms to guest-ready status and return occupied dirty rooms to clean status within given time constraints
  • Maintain a clean, orderly housekeeping cart
  • Follow all cleaning procedures and checklists precisely
  • Report discrepancies to the Housekeeping Manager
  • Maintain cleanliness of other hotel areas like associate lounge, restrooms, public spaces, stairwells, and back-of-house
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries
  • Understand and follow emergency, safety, and security procedures
