Job Requirements
- Pass appropriate security clearance per company policy
- Ability to perform major life activities including standing, lifting (push or pull 60 pounds, carry 30 pounds), bending, stretching, reaching, crawling, kneeling
- Must be able to stand for eight hours
- Must be able to see, hear, speak, and understand English
- Maintain professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness at all times
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- Ability to maintain a friendly, professional image
- Availability to work in a 24/7 operational environment
Job Qualifications
- Experience in similar positions such as lodging, housing, hospitals, or care facilities helpful but not mandatory
- Knowledge of proper linen handling, sanitation, guestroom cleaning and safety protocols
- Ability to maintain professional guest privacy and hospitality standards
- Competent in following systematic cleaning procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Capability to multitask while maintaining service orientation
- Professionalism, honesty, and reliability
- Basic ability to read and understand English, multilingual skills a plus
Job Duties
- Provide excellent guest service in an efficient, courteous professional manner following company standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of guest rooms and supplies
- Clean vacant dirty rooms and return occupied dirty rooms to clean status within time constraints
- Adhere to grooming and uniform standards maintaining professional appearance
- Maintain housekeeping cart in clean and orderly condition
- Follow all prescribed cleaning procedures and training checklists
- Report discrepancies and assist with maintaining public and back-of-house areas clean and orderly
- Respond to guest requests and inquiries promptly
- Understand and comply with emergency, safety, and security procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
