Job Requirements

  • Pass appropriate security clearance per company policy
  • Ability to perform major life activities including standing, lifting (push or pull 60 pounds, carry 30 pounds), bending, stretching, reaching, crawling, kneeling
  • Must be able to stand for eight hours
  • Must be able to see, hear, speak, and understand English
  • Maintain professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness at all times
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to maintain a friendly, professional image
  • Availability to work in a 24/7 operational environment

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in similar positions such as lodging, housing, hospitals, or care facilities helpful but not mandatory
  • Knowledge of proper linen handling, sanitation, guestroom cleaning and safety protocols
  • Ability to maintain professional guest privacy and hospitality standards
  • Competent in following systematic cleaning procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Capability to multitask while maintaining service orientation
  • Professionalism, honesty, and reliability
  • Basic ability to read and understand English, multilingual skills a plus

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent guest service in an efficient, courteous professional manner following company standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of guest rooms and supplies
  • Clean vacant dirty rooms and return occupied dirty rooms to clean status within time constraints
  • Adhere to grooming and uniform standards maintaining professional appearance
  • Maintain housekeeping cart in clean and orderly condition
  • Follow all prescribed cleaning procedures and training checklists
  • Report discrepancies and assist with maintaining public and back-of-house areas clean and orderly
  • Respond to guest requests and inquiries promptly
  • Understand and comply with emergency, safety, and security procedures
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
