Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience an advantage
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and checklists

  • Physical ability to perform manual cleaning tasks
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness
  • Reliability and punctuality

Job Duties

  • Stock housekeeping bag to ensure availability of cleaning supplies and amenities
  • Observe knocking procedures before entering guest rooms
  • Clean assigned guest rooms thoroughly
  • Stock amenities in each cleaned room
  • Complete housekeeping checklist fully
  • Mark cleaned rooms accurately for supervisor inspection
  • Report damages or hazards in guest rooms
  • Secure guest room doors upon exit
  • Maintain cleanliness of corridors and service areas
  • Turn in lost and found items and guest room keys
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Follow safety and security rules
  • Know fire prevention and emergency procedures
  • Use protective equipment appropriately
  • Report unsafe conditions to management
  • Report accidents, injuries, near-misses, property damage or loss
  • Maintain neat and clean personal appearance
  • Assist other housekeeping personnel as needed
  • Perform other duties as requested by management
