Job Requirements

  • Ability to safely operate commercial housekeeping equipment
  • familiarity with safety and security procedures
  • physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including bending, lifting, and moving

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior experience in housekeeping or hotel room attendant preferred
  • good command of English language
  • second language proficiency desirable
  • ability to read and understand written instructions
  • excellent time management and multitasking skills
  • strong organizational and planning abilities
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • knowledge of corporate and brand standards and procedures

Job Duties

  • Clean assigned guest rooms and stock with appropriate supplies in accordance with quality and timeliness standards
  • pick up trash
  • change linen
  • make beds
  • clean bathrooms thoroughly
  • vacuum and dust guest rooms
  • clean windows and balconies if applicable
  • respond to guest inquiries courteously
  • professionally resolve guest issues
  • report lost or missing guest possessions promptly
  • report unsafe, broken, or missing furnishings or equipment to supervisors
  • maintain required inventory on housekeeping carts
  • order or obtain additional supplies as needed
  • store housekeeping carts according to procedures
  • assist in the laundry department as requested
  • participate in deep cleaning projects and daily special projects
  • perform other duties as assigned by management
