Job Duties

  • Prepare cleaning carts with products and maintain them and storage areas in order
  • Clean windows, doors, walls, closets, room accessories, public areas, and corridors using stools or ladders for hard-to-reach areas
  • Wash shower walls, tubs, toilets, and partitions
  • Restock towels, soaps, and guest room amenities
  • Hand wash floors including linoleum and tile to remove dirt and stains
  • Dust and polish furniture, wall hangings, vents, and ceiling corners to remove dust and cobwebs
  • Change and inspect bed linens and mattresses for cleanliness
  • Inspect and clean closets, restock items like hangers, blankets, and pillows
  • Vacuum rooms, public areas, and corridors, moving heavy furniture as needed
  • Inspect locks for safety and report issues to management
  • Check equipment like TVs, lights, faucets, and radios and report maintenance issues
  • Maintain custody and protection of equipment, keys, and materials
