Job Requirements
- Non-slip shoes are recommended
- ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background check
- requires walking and standing to a significant degree, reaching, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, crawling, stooping, handling and seeing
- lifting up to 50 lbs maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying or transporting of objects weighing up to 25 lbs
- inside environmental conditions protected from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes
- potential exposure to paint, solvents, cleaning chemicals and/or fumes
Job Qualifications
- No prior experience or education is required
- developed language skills to read and comprehend simple instructions, safety rules and memos
- mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply and divide
- developed reasoning skills to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
Job Duties
- Provide top quality service and meets guests needs
- thoroughly clean all assigned guestrooms to include changing linens, making beds, dusting, vacuuming, scrubbing, washing and replenishing supplies
- thoroughly clean public space, work areas and storage areas
- maintain room quality based on hotel and brand standards
- follow standard procedures for acceptance and security of guest lost and found items
- ensure master keys and located guestroom keys are properly secured
- ability to work well with a diverse group of people
