Job Requirements

  • Must be able to pass security clearance
  • Must be able to stand for eight hours
  • Must be able to push or pull 60 pounds and lift or carry 30 pounds
  • Must be able to bend, stretch, reach, crawl, and kneel

  • Must be able to communicate in English

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or similar roles desirable but not mandatory
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good physical stamina
  • Friendly and hospitable attitude towards guests and coworkers

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent guest service in an efficient courteous professional manner
  • Clean vacant dirty rooms to guest ready status
  • Return occupied dirty rooms to occupied clean status within specified time and accuracy constraints
  • Maintain professional appearance adhering to grooming and uniform standards
  • Keep housekeeping cart clean and orderly
  • Follow all cleaning procedures and training checklists
  • Report discrepancies to Housekeeping Manager
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness in other hotel areas including public spaces
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries
  • Understand and follow emergency and safety procedures
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned
