Job Qualifications

  • prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred

  • physical ability to perform cleaning duties including lifting up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • Stocks housekeeping bags to ensure cleaning needs, equipment, and amenities are available
  • observes knocking procedures before entering guest rooms
  • cleans assigned guest rooms thoroughly
  • stocks amenities for each cleaned room
  • completes housekeeping checklist
  • marks clean rooms for supervisor inspection
  • reports damages or hazards in guest rooms
  • secures guest room doors after cleaning
  • keeps corridors and service areas neat
  • turns in lost and found items and guest room keys
  • adheres to company policies and procedures
  • follows safety and security guidelines
  • knows fire prevention and emergency procedures
  • uses protective equipment
  • reports unsafe conditions to management
  • reports accidents, injuries, and property damage
  • maintains neat and clean appearance
  • assists other housekeeping personnel when needed
