Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in hospitality or housekeeping environment preferred
  • Ability to work varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Good communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to follow safety and security procedures
  • Must maintain a neat and clean appearance

Job Qualifications

  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Effective communication skills with guests and coworkers
  • Ability to visually inspect and ensure cleanliness
  • Knowledge of safety and emergency procedures
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to perform cleaning duties such as bending, reaching, standing, and lifting

Job Duties

  • Stock housekeeping bag to ensure cleaning needs, equipment, and amenities are available
  • Observe knocking procedures upon entering guest rooms
  • Clean assigned guest rooms and restock amenities
  • Complete housekeeping checklist accurately
  • Mark clean rooms to supervisor for inspection
  • Report damages or hazards in guest rooms
  • Secure guest room doors upon exiting
  • Keep corridors and service areas neat
  • Turn in lost and found items and guest room keys
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Follow safety and security procedures and rules
  • Know department fire prevention and emergency procedures
  • Utilize protective equipment
  • Report unsafe conditions and incidents to management
  • Maintain neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
  • Assist other housekeeping personnel when needed
  • Perform any related duties requested by management
