Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
  • ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • ability to bend, stoop, and reach
  • good communication skills
  • willingness to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Stock housekeeping bag to ensure adequate cleaning supplies and amenities
  • observe knocking procedures before entering guest rooms
  • clean assigned guest rooms thoroughly
  • ensure amenities are replenished in each cleaned room
  • complete housekeeping checklist accurately
  • mark clean rooms for supervisor inspection
  • report any damages or hazards in guest rooms
  • secure guest room doors upon exiting
  • maintain neat corridors and service areas
  • turn in lost and found items and guest room keys
  • adhere to company policies and procedures
  • follow safety and security procedures and rules
  • know fire prevention and emergency procedures
  • utilize protective equipment
  • report unsafe conditions to management
  • report accidents, injuries, property damage or loss to management
  • provide a safe work environment by following all safety protocols
  • maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
  • perform related duties as requested by management
  • assist other housekeeping personnel when needed
