Job Requirements
- Pass the appropriate security clearance per company policy
- Must be able to push or pull 60 pounds and lift or carry 30 pounds
- Must be able to stand for eight hours and perform physical activities such as bending, stretching, reaching, crawling or kneeling
- Must be able to see, hear, speak and read or understand English
- Maintain a flexible work schedule including availability on holidays and weekends
- Display professionalism, honesty and trustworthiness at all times
Job Qualifications
- Experience in similar positions such as lodging or care facilities helpful but not mandatory
- Ability to perform physical activities including standing, bending, lifting, pushing and pulling
- Basic comprehension of English with professional communication skills
- Knowledge of sanitation and guestroom cleaning procedures
- Ability to maintain guest privacy
- Professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness
Job Duties
- Provide excellent guest service in an efficient courteous professional manner
- Clean vacant dirty rooms to be guest ready and occupied dirty rooms to clean status within specified time
- Maintain a clean and orderly housekeeping cart
- Follow all cleaning procedures outlined in training and checklist
- Report discrepancies to the Housekeeping Manager
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness of other hotel areas including restrooms and public spaces
- Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries
