Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial work preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Good physical condition and stamina
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and coworkers
- Willingness to adhere to company dress and grooming standards
- Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures
- Good communication skills
- Ability to bend, reach, stand, and walk for extended periods
- Ability to work flexible hours including varied shifts
- Basic understanding of safety and emergency procedures
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
Job Duties
- Stocks housekeeping bag to ensure cleaning needs, equipment, and amenities are available
- Observes knocking procedures before entering guest rooms
- Cleans assigned guest rooms and stocks amenities
- Completes housekeeping checklist for each room
- Marks clean rooms for supervisor inspection
- Reports damages or hazards found in guest rooms
- Secures guest room doors upon exiting
- Maintains neat corridors and service areas
- Turns in lost and found items and guest room keys
- Adheres to company policies and safety procedures
- Reports unsafe conditions and accidents to management
- Maintains a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
- Assists other housekeeping personnel when needed
- Performs related duties as requested by management
