Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role preferred
- ability to perform physically demanding tasks
- availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- strong customer service orientation
- ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- knowledge of OSHA cleaning standards and chemical safety protocols

- knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies

Job Duties
- celebrate our culture of individualism, engagement, having fun and evolving the Hampton Inn and Suites experience for every guest every time
- represent the hotel in a positive manner at all times
- clean, dust, polish and vacuum to make sure guest rooms and bathrooms meet hotel standards
- change linens, make beds, and clean the bathroom
- restock all guest room supplies, like soap and shampoo
- greet guests that you encounter during your shift with a friendly smile
- monitor and handle guest complaints following guest services training procedures and ensure guest satisfaction, immediately reporting any complaints to the supervisor
- assume all responsibilities as delegated by the manager and do any or all other duties that may be required to fulfill customer needs and requests
- use correct cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces, according to OSHA regulations and hotel requirements
- exemplify the hotel's Standard Code of Conduct and all other regulations established by management and Employee Handbook
- knowledge of the process for providing customer and personal service
- provide service to others and work with co-workers in a friendly non-competitive environment
