Job Qualifications

  • previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is a plus
  • ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures

Job Duties

  • Stocks housekeeping bag to ensure availability of cleaning supplies and amenities
  • observes knocking procedures before entering guest rooms
  • cleans assigned guest rooms thoroughly
  • restocks amenities in each cleaned room
  • completes housekeeping checklist accurately
  • marks cleaned rooms to supervisor for inspection
  • reports damages or hazards in guest rooms
  • secures guest room doors upon exit
  • keeps corridors and service areas neat
  • turns in lost and found items and keys
  • adheres to all company policies and procedures
  • follows safety and security rules
  • knows fire prevention and emergency procedures
  • utilizes protective equipment
  • reports unsafe conditions and incidents to management
  • maintains a neat and well-groomed appearance
  • performs related duties as requested by management
  • assists other housekeeping personnel when needed
