Job Requirements

  • Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and 20 pounds frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, or pull objects
  • ability to stand during entire shift
  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • experience in hotel or related field preferred
  • ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with all levels of employees and guests
  • service oriented and courteous manner
  • ability to stand during entire shift

Job Duties

  • Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards
  • complete all pre-cleaning duties including guest and cleaning supplies and linen for housekeeping cart set-up
  • remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways
  • keep hallways, public areas and closets clean, neat and vacuumed
  • restock housekeeping cleaning cart for next day use
  • replenish chemical bottles
  • report all missing items from room to Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager
  • report any maintenance repairs immediately
  • handle lost and found items according to standards
  • ensure overall guest satisfaction
