Job Requirements

  • Pass company security clearance
  • Ability to perform physical activities including standing, walking, lifting up to 30 pounds and pushing/pulling up to 60 pounds
  • Ability to stand for up to eight hours and perform tasks such as bending, stretching and kneeling
  • Ability to see, hear, speak, read and understand English
  • Display professionalism and maintain guest privacy
  • Flexible availability including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in lodging, housing, hospitals or care facilities preferred
  • Knowledge of proper linen handling and sanitation
  • Ability to follow systematic cleaning procedures
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Professionalism, honesty and trustworthiness

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent guest service in an efficient and courteous manner following company standards
  • Clean vacant and occupied guest rooms to meet brand standards
  • Maintain housekeeping cart and organize supplies
  • Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and inquiries
  • Report discrepancies and hazardous conditions to management
  • Assist in cleaning public areas and back-of-house spaces
