Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous one year experience in housekeeping or related field preferred
Basic cleaning skills
Ability to communicate in English
Ability to prioritize and organize tasks
Ability to make good judgments
Dependable and punctual
Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds unassisted
Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times while providing personalized service to hotel guests
Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members
Clean guest rooms to DKN Hotels' standards including but not limited to making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms completely, wiping down walls
Clean rooms within the minutes-per-room guideline established by the Executive Housekeeper and General Manager
Follow DKN Hotels' policy for room amenities
Turn in all items left in guestroom to manager immediately
Maintain complete security of master room key and return the key at the end of shift
Report any maintenance items that need immediate attention
Assist with laundry as needed
Report any missing or found articles or damage to the Executive Housekeeper
Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel
Deliver DKN's 'Home Away From Home' experience
Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management
