Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to follow safety and security policies
  • Physical ability to handle job demands including lifting and standing
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Stock housekeeping bag to ensure cleaning needs and equipment are available
  • Observe knocking procedures upon entering guest rooms
  • Clean assigned guest rooms and restock amenities
  • Complete entire housekeeping checklist
  • Mark clean rooms accurately for supervisor inspection
  • Report damages or hazards in guest rooms
  • Secure guest room doors upon exiting
  • Keep corridors and service areas neat
  • Turn in lost and found items and guest room keys
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Follow safety and security procedures and rules
  • Know fire prevention and emergency procedures
  • Utilize protective equipment
  • Report unsafe conditions to management
  • Report accidents, injuries, and property damage
  • Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
  • Perform related duties as requested by management
  • Assist other housekeeping personnel when needed
