Job Requirements

  • Must be able to stand, walk, use hands, reach with arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds
  • must have developed reasoning ability to apply common sense to instructions
  • ability to calculate discounts and percentages
  • able to differentiate widths and lengths of lines on graphs
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to work in stressful environment

  • able to manage multiple tasks and interruptions
  • must follow safety and environmental protocols

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
  • ability to read and interpret business records and reports
  • basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • good communication skills
  • ability to follow written and oral instructions
  • physical capability to perform cleaning and lifting duties

Job Duties

  • Change bed linen daily
  • vacuum carpeting
  • dust all furniture including picture frames, bed frames, lamps, TVs, dressers
  • remove fingerprints and smudges on mirrors, shiny surfaces, windows
  • thoroughly clean bathroom area including shower stall, sink, floor, toilet
  • ensure standard room set-up compliance
  • report all damage found in rooms
  • report missing items in rooms
  • report personal guest items found
  • notify Executive Housekeeper about rollaways or cribs for pick-up and storage
  • manage pass key and turn it in daily
  • turn in all lost and found items to Executive Housekeeper
  • report unusual room conditions including no luggage, no service needed, sleep outs, extra guests
  • shut off lights, TVs, air conditioners when leaving rooms
  • assist housekeeper with additional cleaning chores
