Job Requirements

  • Must be able to pass security clearance as per company policy
  • Ability to stand for eight hours, push or pull 60 pounds, and lift or carry 30 pounds
  • Ability to bend, stretch, reach, crawl, and kneel as required
  • Ability to see, hear, speak, and read or understand English
  • Must display professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness at all times
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule including holidays and weekends
  • Must be able to perform major life activities involved in the role
  • Ability to maintain guest privacy and comply with all company standards

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or related roles preferred but not mandatory
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English and possibly another language
  • Demonstrated professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of guestroom cleaning procedures and sanitation standards
  • Basic understanding of safety and security protocols
  • Physical ability to perform required tasks including lifting and standing for long periods
  • Positive attitude and willingness to assist guests with care

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent guest service in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner
  • Follow The Company standards of friendly hospitality and adhere to guidelines and procedures
  • Clean vacant and occupied guest rooms to brand standards ensuring they are guest ready
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked housekeeping cart
  • Follow all cleaning procedures outlined in training and update general cleaning every 90 days
  • Report any hazardous conditions or discrepancies to the Housekeeping Manager immediately
  • Assist with maintaining cleanliness in public areas, employee lounges, locker rooms, restrooms, stairwells, and back-of-house areas
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries with professionalism and care
  • Maintain a crisp and professional appearance daily according to grooming and uniform standards
  • Adhere to all safety and security measures and emergency procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned within capability of the associate
