Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in hotel or related field preferred
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Willingness to cross-train in other hotel areas

Job Duties

  • Be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to all guests, managers, and fellow employees
  • Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards
  • Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen cart set-up
  • Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways
  • Keep hallways, public areas, and closets clean, neat, and vacuumed
  • Restock housekeeping cleaning cart for next day use
  • Replenish chemical bottles
  • Clean rooms with doors closed unless otherwise requested by guests
  • Report missing items to Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager
  • Report maintenance repairs immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager
  • Handle Lost and Found items according to standards
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction
