Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year of relevant housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
- Capability to stand and walk for extended periods up to 6 hours
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch regularly
- Must be able to work efficiently in limited spaces
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and OSHA regulations
- Ability to multitask calmly and accurately
- Must be a team player with good cooperation skills
- Must complete required training and certification for the role
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- At least one year of housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to understand and comply with company policies and procedures
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Basic knowledge of housekeeping practices
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and guests
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Skilled in reading, counting, and following detailed instructions
- Physical ability to perform demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Clean guest rooms thoroughly including kitchen areas and appliances
- Notify supervisors when rooms are ready for occupancy
- Monitor and control housekeeping supplies and minimize waste
- Report and log lost and found items according to procedures
- Follow Fairmont Grand Del Mar and Forbes standards for room service consistently
- Maintain high levels of cleanliness, attention to detail, and safety
- Replenish supplies and report maintenance or safety issues promptly
