Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year of relevant housekeeping experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
  • Capability to stand and walk for extended periods up to 6 hours
  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch regularly
  • Must be able to work efficiently in limited spaces
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines and OSHA regulations
  • Ability to multitask calmly and accurately
  • Must be a team player with good cooperation skills
  • Must complete required training and certification for the role

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • At least one year of housekeeping experience preferred
  • Ability to understand and comply with company policies and procedures
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Basic knowledge of housekeeping practices
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and guests
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Skilled in reading, counting, and following detailed instructions
  • Physical ability to perform demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Clean guest rooms thoroughly including kitchen areas and appliances
  • Notify supervisors when rooms are ready for occupancy
  • Monitor and control housekeeping supplies and minimize waste
  • Report and log lost and found items according to procedures
  • Follow Fairmont Grand Del Mar and Forbes standards for room service consistently
  • Maintain high levels of cleanliness, attention to detail, and safety
  • Replenish supplies and report maintenance or safety issues promptly
