Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 6 months to 1 year of work experience in general labor, warehouse operations, delivery, or construction-related fields
- reliable transportation for commuting
- authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- ability to pass criminal and driving background checks
- ability to pass pre-employment drug test
- physical stamina and strength to lift 80-100 lbs repeatedly
- basic math skills
- proficient verbal and written communication in English
- knowledge of OSHA guidelines and proper use of PPE
- ability to read and follow work orders and instructions
- ability to work safely on sloped roofs
- must wear appropriate PPE including harness
- ability to work in diverse weather conditions and high noise levels
- availability to work Monday through Friday with potential overtime
- must embrace company culture of make money and have fun
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 6 months to 1 year of work experience in general labor, warehouse operations, delivery, or construction-related fields
- reliable transportation for commuting
- authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- ability to pass criminal and driving background checks and pre-employment drug test
- physical stamina and strength to lift between 80-100 lbs properly and repeatedly
- basic math skills for inventory counts
- proficient in verbal and written communication in English
- safety awareness with knowledge of OSHA guidelines and proper use of PPE including work boots, gloves, and harnesses
- ability to read work orders, shipping orders, and follow verbal instructions
- ability to work on sloped roofs of various pitches and heights
- availability to work Monday through Friday with potential for overtime
- embrace company culture of make money and have fun
- forklift certification preferred
- completion of relevant vocational training or certification in construction, material handling, or forklift operation is highly desirable
- proficiency in Spanish is a plus
Job Duties
- Load and unload roofing materials from delivery trucks using manual and mechanical methods
- ensure that all safety guidelines and procedures are followed
- aid in the assembly of scaffolding and other structures
- inspect equipment and report any problems
- facilitate the safe distribution of materials onto flat and sloped roofs
- operate conveyor belt systems where trained and certified
- verify and reconcile material orders accurately
- maintain thorough documentation of inventory movements
- provide exceptional service to roofing contractors
- adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols including proper use of personal protective equipment
- coordinate with drivers and team members for efficient loading and unloading
- support safety assessments by inspecting delivery sites for hazards
- assist drivers in maneuvering vehicles in tight spaces
