Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- one year of relevant experience preferred
- food handler certification and alcohol awareness certification if applicable
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- strong communication skills
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- willingness to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- One year of experience in a similar or supportive role preferred
- food handler certification if applicable
- alcohol awareness certification if applicable
- ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- knowledge or ability to learn product, menu, and allergy information
- familiarity with restaurant point-of-sale systems preferred
- proficiency with restaurant inventory and invoicing software preferred
- hardworking and dedicated with a passion for hospitality
- flexible schedule to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Assist the bartender with stocking
- maintain cleanliness of bar and equipment
- serve food and beverages to guests and service staff when necessary
- ensure service stations and tables are accurately set up and clean
- perform sidework, setup, and breakdown of the bar
- follow uniform and grooming standards
- unpack deliveries and stock bar including changing beer kegs
- notify manager of intoxicated or disruptive guests
