Job Requirements
- Minimum age 18
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of related experience
- Completion of company orientation and safety training
- Ability to function in a fast-paced retail environment
- Capability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and organizing merchandise
- Strong customer service skills

Job Duties
- Stock and rotate items as needed
- Assist with inventory control including loading, unloading, and moving product
- Organize, clean, and prepare back area for night crew and incoming trucks
- Organize merchandise on pallets for presentation
- Ensure integrity of shelf tags and signage, creating or preparing signage as needed
- Maintain standards for shrink, safety, inventory control, and sanitation
- Check shipments for out-of-date or damaged product to ensure freshness and quality
- Build, stock, maintain, and take down store displays
- Provide superior customer service
- Answer customer questions regarding products and help locate merchandise
- Merchandise products effectively
- Use suggestive selling techniques to meet customer needs and boost sales
- Clean and sanitize sales floor, display cases, prep areas, and equipment
- Properly handle and maintain all equipment
- Comply with departmental SOPs and store operating procedures
- Complete department-specific responsibilities based on specialty area such as beauty, drugstore/general merchandise, entertainment, grocery, or Texas Backyard
- Demonstrate ability to safely lift items within department-specific limits
- Follow company orientation and safety training protocols
