Job Requirements
- Minimum age 21
- degree in culinary arts, nutrition, home economics preferred
- 2+ years of related experience or experience in sales, product demonstrations, or professional cooking
- completion or ability to complete H-E-B Wine selling certification
- completion or ability to complete TABC certification
- ability to stand, reach, grasp constantly
- ability to sit, walk, bend, stoop, crouch, kneel occasionally
- ability to lift 60 lbs and manage more than 60 lbs with assistance
- willingness to work flexible hours
Job Qualifications
- Degree in culinary arts, nutrition, home economics preferred
- 2+ years of experience related to food and cooking
- experience in sales, product demonstrations, or professional cooking
- ability to complete or completed H-E-B Wine selling certification

Job Duties
- Perform selling activation events in the Cooking Connection kitchen
- assist in developing recipes targeted to the local customer base
- engage customers through knowledge of ingredients, beverages, and cooking techniques
- create a hub of food experiences
- conduct cooking method and recipe demonstrations
- offer menu and meal planning advice
- execute food prep methods efficiently
- provide culinary conversations using the microphone
- recommend beverage pairings
- maintain relationships by recalling customer dietary needs
- contribute culinary insights to in-store cooking events
- assist in cooking classes and wine education
- conduct floor demos
- maintain A+ standards in kitchen merchandising
- stock and clean fixtures
- update customer signage
- work backstock
- support food production for retail sale
- ensure compliance with food safety regulations
- complete food safety trainings
- maintain clean and safe work environment
- clean kitchen and equipment per standards
- operate under 5-S guidelines
- prep products using mise-en-place
- use personal protection equipment during tasks
