Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 3 to 6 months related cooking experience preferred
  • Ability to achieve ServSafe certification within 90 days
  • Ability to complete Culinary Academy within 12 months
  • Ability to maintain discretion with confidential information
  • Professional interaction with guests and team members
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours and extended shifts
  • Physical ability to work in demanding kitchen environments
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally with assistance
  • Must wear all required personal protective equipment
  • Ability to work in hot and cold environments
  • Must work near moving parts and kitchen equipment
  • Ability to handle foods with common allergens
  • Must tolerate moderate to loud noise levels
  • Must work in a facility that is not smoke free

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Perform basic to intermediate food preparation and cooking duties including washing, peeling, cutting, and measuring ingredients
  • Prepare salads and cold foods
  • Fry, stock, and batch cook
  • Assemble, garnish, and finalize presentation of completed dishes
  • Use and clean kitchen surfaces, equipment, and utensils safely
  • Maintain a safe, sanitary, and organized work environment working closely with stewards
  • Learn to perform more advanced kitchen and cooking duties and assist culinary team
  • Assist in storing and rotating inventories
  • Perform opening and closing duties
  • Work at other kitchens or venues as assigned
  • Perform job duties in compliance with internal controls, policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned
