Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior laundry or housekeeping experience preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Physical ability to handle laundry and cleaning tasks
  • Ability to follow company policies and procedures
  • Effective communication skills

Job Duties

  • Report for duty on time and in uniform
  • Operate washers and dryers including loading, unloading, and cleaning filters
  • Sort linens by condition and record totals of soiled linens
  • Fold and store linens by category in neat stacks
  • Report equipment malfunctions to supervisor
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas
  • Record monthly linen inventory
  • Advise supervisor of linen shortages and purchase needs
  • Organize linen allocation to room attendants
  • Keep first-floor closet stocked
  • Assist with housekeeping duties including cleaning guest rooms, lobby, corridors, service areas, vending areas, restrooms
  • Collect trash throughout the property
  • Replenish restroom supplies
  • Assist team members by covering shifts and cleaning rooms
  • Perform outdoor maintenance work as directed
  • Participate in special cleaning projects
  • Execute all other duties as assigned by management
