Job Requirements

  • Valid RN license
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of accredited nursing program
  • Ability to work 8-hour shifts on a 2-week rotation
  • Willingness to work full-time or part-time
  • Compliance with immunization requirements
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation

Job Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Experience in psychiatric or mental health nursing preferred
  • Knowledge of psychiatric disorders and treatments
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work all shifts including nights and weekends
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly

Job Duties

  • Provide nursing care to psychiatric patients
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Monitor patient progress and document observations
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans
  • Ensure patient safety and manage crises effectively
  • Educate patients and families about treatment plans
  • Attend staff meetings and ongoing training sessions
