Job Requirements
- Valid RN license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of accredited nursing program
- Ability to work 8-hour shifts on a 2-week rotation
- Willingness to work full-time or part-time
- Compliance with immunization requirements
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation
Job Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience in psychiatric or mental health nursing preferred
- Knowledge of psychiatric disorders and treatments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work all shifts including nights and weekends
- Familiarity with electronic medical records
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly
Job Duties
- Provide nursing care to psychiatric patients
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient progress and document observations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans
- Ensure patient safety and manage crises effectively
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans
- Attend staff meetings and ongoing training sessions
