Job Requirements

  • Registered nurse with current state license
  • 3-5 years of leadership or management experience in healthcare
  • Knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare regulations
  • Strong understanding of hospice operations
  • Ability to work independently and frequent travel
  • Effective communication skills
  • Proficiency with technology
  • Commitment to professionalism and quality care

Job Qualifications

  • Registered nurse with current license in the state of residence
  • 3-5 years of leadership or sales/management experience, preferably in hospice or healthcare
  • Experience with Medicaid/Medicare regulations and reimbursement
  • Strong understanding of hospice operations and regulatory compliance
  • Able to work independently and travel frequently
  • Effective communicator with strong decision-making and time management skills
  • Highly proficient with technology and digital platforms
  • Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and commitment to quality care
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred
  • Equivalent experience accepted

Job Duties

  • Serve as the administrator on record at assigned hospice agencies
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations including staffing, compliance, patient services, and performance improvement
  • Drive clinical quality and ensure services meet Medicare Conditions of Participation, state hospice regulations, and Gentiva standards
  • Lead, coach, and support hospice care teams to meet patient-centered goals
  • Manage operational budgets with full P&L responsibility
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to ensure smooth transitions and sustainable team performance
  • Travel up to 100% throughout the region to provide onsite leadership
