Job Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
  • Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, preferably in emergency care
  • Ability to work full-time 12-hour night shifts
  • Experience with Epic electronic medical records preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain within 30 days of hire
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in an emergency department
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records, preferably Epic
  • Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Assess patient conditions and priorities using clinical judgment
  • Develop and evaluate individualized nursing care plans
  • Coordinate and delegate nursing care to healthcare team members
  • Manage and resolve staff grievances and address performance issues
  • Conduct quality improvement initiatives and support evidence-based practice
  • Foster a therapeutic and safe environment for patients and staff
  • Ensure compliance with nursing standards, regulations, and hospital policies
