Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP
- Willingness to travel 40-60% depending on project assignments
- On-site presence at least 80% of the time, including extended workweeks during critical phases
- Ability to relocate temporarily or permanently based on project needs
- Clean-shaven for proper respirator fit and adherence to PPE protocols
- Commitment to following all safety procedures
- Ability to work extended schedules including weekends
- Strong leadership and communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of operational leadership experience in ready-mix operations
- Strong experience managing field leadership teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP
- Knowledge of safety, quality, and environmental regulations
- Preferred master’s degree
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
- Training in Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt) preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to lead and motivate diverse teams
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and environmental compliance
Job Duties
- Lead all on-site ready-mix operations for assigned projects
- Manage Site Superintendents and field leadership teams
- Oversee batching operations, production sequencing, and material quality in alignment with quality control representatives and management
- Build and lead local project teams in partnership with assigned Human Resource personnel
- Ensure strict compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards from pre-mobilization through demobilization stages
- Coordinate staffing, equipment, and production plans to meet project schedules, including internal personnel, equipment and third party vendors
- Serve as the on-site and primary operational point of contact for customers, vendors, internal shared services and partner contacts
- Work directly with the General Manager and support functions on the development of mid-term and long-term objectives for the business unit
- Translate and cascade objectives to measurable goals applicable for area of responsibility and is ultimately accountable for the successful execution of all approved strategies
- Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments and areas
