Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • one year of work experience in programming, event planning, and/or administrative responsibilities
  • ability to work a varied schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • experience in supporting large-scale events and fundraisers preferred
  • valid driver's license which meets Five Rivers MetroParks insurance carrier guidelines
  • successful completion of criminal background check
  • passing drug screening test
  • ability to work irregular schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED
  • one year of work experience in programming, event planning, and/or administrative responsibilities
  • experience supporting large-scale events and fundraisers preferred
  • ability to work a varied schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • valid driver's license matching insurance guidelines

Job Duties

  • supports the development and operation of events
  • provides on-site support, post-event follow-ups and debriefs
  • supports promotional efforts including creating signage, web updates, event program content review, media appearances, social media posts, email newsletters, and print material distribution
  • informs groups about rules and safety precautions during events
  • provides event logistics support such as electrical, sound, lights, tents, tables, chairs, security, street closures, parking, and buildings
  • assists in monitoring and enforcing rules and regulations
  • provides administrative support including processing invoices, creating reports, data entry, and drafting communications
  • assists in identifying sponsorship and community partner opportunities
  • works within annual budget
  • provides public service related to events
  • performs other duties as assigned
  • maintains confidentiality of sensitive records and information
  • works assigned schedule including irregular hours
